About Our Founder

Brigid Mackey, founder of Neuro Athletics, is a leading neuromuscular expert committed to maximizing athletic performance, injury prevention, and rapid recovery through advanced Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT). A lifelong athlete, Brigid began competitive swimming at the age of four, and by high school, she was representing the United States at the North American Challenge Cup, bringing home multiple medals. With a background spanning volleyball, soccer, tennis, basketball, and competitive sailing, Brigid’s multi-sport experience equips her with a deep, firsthand understanding of what it takes to excel in athletics.

Brigid’s academic journey is rooted in her fascination with the science of optimal human performance. She holds degrees in Psychology, Biology, and Business from the University of Redlands, along with a pre-medicine background. Brigid trained for over a decade under renowned neuromuscular specialist Dan Zeller. She earned a master degree level certification in MAT at the world headquarters, bringing top-level expertise to every client she works with.

Since launching Neuro Athletics in 2019, Brigid has empowered clients to unlock new levels of strength, speed, and resilience through her results-driven approach. Combining personalized MAT techniques with elite sports performance training, she delivers measurable improvements that help clients reach their peak potential. Neuro Athletics additionally offers tailored weight loss and nutrition programs, helping clients achieve holistic health and fitness success.
